Robert “Big Bob” Everett, age 70, of the Town of Merrill, WI, passed away on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at his home. Bob was born on May 11, 1952, in Maryland to the late Dudley and Lois (Neubauer) Everett. He grew up in Beloit and moved to Maryland when he was 16. Bob was a 1970 graduate of the Aberdeen High School in Maryland. Bob worked as a union glazier for many years. He enjoyed snowmobiling, four wheeling, riding his Harley, and his beloved dogs, especially his most recent dog, “Buddy”. Bob loved getting together with friends weekly at Rock Island Resort in Merrill where he could drink Budweisers and shoot the breeze. He was an avid Nascar fan and a huge Terry Labonte fan before his retirement.
Survivors include his son, Jeff (Steph Helvey); his siblings, Jeff Paul, Sherri Beeman, Kevin Everett, Deb Everett, and Robin Crane; his grandchildren, Taylor (Scott Steckbauer) Everett, and Morgan Sefton; and his great-grandchildren, Sage, Corbin, Elund, and Ember. Bob is further survived by his dog, Buddy. He was preceded in death by his father, Dudley Everett; his mother, Lois Paul; his stepfather, Walter Paul; his stepmother, Barbara Everett; and his brother, Shane Everett.
Per Big Bob’s request, a celebration of life will be held at a later date at Rock Island Resort and will be announced at that time. Generations Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family.
