Joyce C. Huse, age 88, passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at Aspirus Hospital, Wausau. She was born on November 3, 1932, in Twelve Corners (Outagamie County), daughter of the late Marvin and Helen (Brocker) Vick. On October 7, 1950, Joyce was united in marriage to Franklin Huse; he preceded her in death in 2007. She loved teaching young children in pre-school, kindergarten, and Sunday school at her church.
Joyce is survived by her children: Lynn (Jim) White, Charlotte (Steve) Boucher, Rae Jean (Dave) Flunker, Scott (Brenda) Huse, Todd (Kelly) Huse, and Pamela (Patrick) Gaulke; siblings, Betty Schroeder, Darlene (Larry) Techlin, Glen (Mary) Vick, and Karen (Gene) Atkins; grandchildren: Michelle Miller, Chadwick (Debbie) White, Marlena (Tony McCall) White, Leah (Trey Reidel) White, Shilo Webster, Promise (Roger) Novak, and Charity Boucher, Amy Flunker, Sonya Flunker, Angela (Luke) Holcomb, Corina (Barry) Helgestad, and Travis (Rebekah) Huse, Bethany Huse, Amos Huse, Tiffany (Mike) Holbrook, Esther Gaulke, Lydia Gaulke and Teletha Gaulke; great-grandchildren: Kira, Cole, Kyan, Faith, Patience, Hope, Serenity, Ethan, Holden, Becham, Monica, Athena, Grace, and Anna. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 brothers, Vernon and Merle.
Funeral services for Joyce will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 17, 2021, at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London with Rev. Scott Huse officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday evening from 4-7 PM and also at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in the Shiocton-Bovina Cemetery.
