Steven Michael Peck, age 63, passed away at his home of natural causes on Sunday, November 15, 2020. Steve was born September 16, 1957, in Merrill, son of the late Legion and Joan (Cortright) Peck. He was a graduate of Merrill Senior High School and had attended a technical school thereafter. Steve recently retired from the Weinbrenner Shoe Company of Merrill. Steve truly enjoyed being a ‘grandpa’; whether it was taking his grandkids fishing or babysitting for them. Steve also enjoyed target practicing with his guns, and Sunday morning breakfasts with his brothers David and Larry and then joining them to go car shopping.
Steve is survived by two daughters, Michelle Peck (with finance, Jeff Raymer), and Melissa Lillie, both of Merrill; eight grandchildren Tiffany, Danica, Amiya, Brooklyn, Anthony, Samuel, Lydia, and Angel; three brothers, Randy (Deb) Peck of Gleason, and David and Larry Peck both of Merrill; and four nieces and nephews, Rachel, Cody, Amanda, and Joseph.
A private family graveside service will be held at Merrill Memorial Park Cemetery. The Taylor-Stine Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Merrill is assisting the family. Online condolences may be made at www.taylorstinefuneralhome.com.
