Michael “Micha” Wayne Haas, 68, of Rockford, Illinois, formerly of Merrill, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 5, 2020 under the care of Serenity House Hospice Services. Michael, currently retired, had worked as a lead print operator for CONSECO Insurance Company in Rockford, Illinois.
He is survived by sister, Mari Nelson; niece, Doni (Eric) Cornett; and nephew Michael Nelson; as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews and cousins. His parents, Otto and Doris (Schenk) Hass; sister, Barbara E. Hass, and a brother-in-law, Roger Nelson preceded him in death.
A private Memorial Service will be held at a later date at the Gleason Cemetery. Waid Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
